Economic efficiency of innovative e-business models

Today companies are looking to enter new markets or gain competitive advantages through innovative e-business models. However for the development and deployment of e-business models expenditures and investments must be made. Consequently, determining the economic efficiency of these models is of great importance. To this end, the research at CAEBUS investigates the economic efficiency of these innovative e-business models. Furthermore, we determine the appropriateness of tools and methods as well as analyze and describe the measurements and any resulting issues. The analysis not only applies investment-theory methods but also develops business cases in the context of e-business models. The knowledge gained is presented in the form of policy recommendations for implementation and testing.
